Firefox crashing every time I use Zotero

Hi this is recent problem so I guess has something to do with latest version of firefox or zotero - I am not a techie by the way- I am using a Mac and have latest version of Zotero installed and I am on os 10.5.8. Could it be a problem with another add on for firefox? I love Zotero and am in the middle of writing a book with a tight deadline so the crashes are driving me nuts -anyone out there have an answer- it was working perfectly until latest update of firefox should i go back to previous version?

    HELP! I am in the same position: I have a Mac and Firefox has been crashing every time I try to sync Zotero. This only started after I installed the latest version of Zotero. I cannot get a Debug ID. I tried to click "Enable" in the Advanced tab of Preferences and then perform the action (sync), but before I can submit to Zotero, Firefox crashes. Zotero used to work perfectly. The syncs I try to perform only last until Firefox crashes and so they never complete before Firefox crashes. I used to have Zotero set to sync automatically, but this meant that everytime I opened Zotero, it automatically started to sync and then Firefox would crash, so I changed it. It takes about 1 minute for Firefox to crash after I try to sync.

    Here is the info I have:
    Mac OS X, version 10.4.11
    Firefox 3.5.7
    Zotero 2.0

    I am also not particularly "techy," so please if anyone can help, remember I have a Mac and I need simple instructions. THANKS!

    Upgrade to Firefox 3.6.

    Yep, that was it. After I upgraded, it took a really long time to sync the first time, and Firefox seemed to freeze, but didn't crash. It finally finished syncing and then I tried a second time and the sync took much less time to complete.

    Thanks so much Dan, I have been trying to figure this out (embarrassing that it was something so simple) for 2 hours and I was starting to really stress about the work assignment that I had to have completed by tomorrow!
