Cannot loggin in to my Zotero account on Zotero 9 (macOS)

I am having trouble logging into my zotero account in Zotero 9 (macOS). When I tried Preferences -> Sync -> Log in, it opened a Firefox window to ask me for permission. But after I authorized it, it kept running but never actually logging into my account. When I check the Privacy setting (zotero online), I can see that it created a new Private key for Zotero desktop, but the key was never used. Every time I tried logging in, it generated new key without working.

I've tried deleting my profile folder and started fresh, but the problem still occurred.

    Likely either a permissions problem in your Zotero profile directory or security software interfering (the latter less likely on a Mac). Have you used Zotero on this computer previously, or is this a new installation? Did you transfer files from another Mac?

    Check the permissions in that folder to make sure your user account has full read and write privileges. You can also try deleting cert9.db, key4.db, pkcs11.txt, and logins.json and restarting Zotero.
