Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.
  • I followed your advice and took action, but unfortunately, the problem still exists. Do I have any other options?

Still likely caused by a plugin.

Can you share some more screenshots? What exactly you're looking at and what you see in the right-hand pane after clicking on one of those attachment items?
  • I have contacted with the administrator of the related WebDAV server, it replied that WebDAV server has nothing to do with this error, as the local attachments do not be covered by its function.

I'm not sure what you're reporting here, but we'd need to see a screenshot in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), and you'll need to explain exactly what the problem is that you're showing us.
  • I wonder why my attachments of my papers were disappeared, and how to find them out? I can not find them on Zotero and my computer both. it seems that these attachments vanished into air.

Exactly what it says there. They either never existed on this computer and haven't synced from another computer or something on your computer deleted them on disk outside of Zotero.
  • Do you use any antivirus software? At my university, they installed an antivirus program that generated a couple of false positives, deleting those two PDFs and putting them in quarantine without warning me.

That’s a possibility, because Zotero doesn’t delete any PDFs. That's for sure!
  • according to your notice, I find these attachments on my trash bin of my computer. maybe some plugins delete them stealthily. thank you for your answers
