Upgrade StorageMoving Collection File to a New Group
Hello!
We are trying to share just one file collection of our private library to an external partner. To do this, we created a new private group and planned to click and drag the file collection or select the ellipses to move the file collection by selecting 'move to' or 'copy to'. But click and drag was not working, and when selecting 'move to' or 'copy to', the new private group was not showing as an option, only its current group (which was grayed out due to being the current location).
Can you please provide instructions on how to move a file collection from one private group to another?

What exactly happens when you try drag&drop? And can you create a sample new item in the target group with the account trying this?
I just created a new group and tried to move a test folder into the new group and it is still giving me the prohibited sign. I thought it may be a group owner issue, but I am the owner of both of those groups I just tested.
If this also happens in troubleshooting mode, can you provide a debug ID that captures an attempt to drag& drop a collection to the new group?

I was using the web browser trying to move the file collection to a new group. Your comment reminded me to try on the desktop app so I did that and it worked. It has officially been moved to the new group! Just can't move file collections in the web browser, only desktop app.
