Zotero in Excel

As an agronomist, I conduct numerous experiments and prefer to prepare my experimental protocols in Excel, which facilitates planning and progress tracking. However, I like to reference all the methods used so that my colleagues can easily access additional information if needed.

Currently, I create my references in Word and then copy and paste them into Excel, which is tedious. Is there a Zotero plugin for Excel?

    OMG, I didn't know it is possible to simply drag and drop items in another program to get the references. This will save me a lot of time in the future.

    Excel is not my use case, but I tried it too and noticed that a reference with a link becomes a link -- i.e., the whole reference is now clickable. But this is Excel behavior, not a Zotero issue.
