Change Inline citation from brackets to parentheses

Hi guys. Hope everyone is fine. I need help. I can't seem to change my inline citation from square brackets [ ] to parentheses ( ) can anyone help?

Are you changing the citation style and it's not doing it?

No, I tried. I even did ClC editor but it still remains like in the picture below

and when I remove those square brackets it removes everything

You just need to change the citation style to one that has round brackets. You can find hundreds of those in the repository. Find one you like, click on it and Zotero should install it.
Then change the style under "Document preferences" (up top in your screenshot).
