This is such a weird problem I'm having all of the sudden. In-text citation formats like APA or MLA load fine, but if I try to select Chicago 18th edition or Chicago 17th edition from the drop down list it just closes the drop down menu without changing. If I refresh the page (Chicago 18th is set as my default for this bibliography), the page just infinitely loads until I click a format like MLA or APA. I thought it was my computer, so I tried a test citation on my phone and ran into the same problem.
