Titel / Conference Paper / no italics

I am using APA 7th edition and I need the conference title not to be italicised. After the new update, I cannot add a new style.

Does anybody have an idea how the work around this problem?

What do you mean you can't add a new style? That definitely still works in general.

If I try to "Add from Files" a new style it does not work. But even if this works, I don't know how to change the title to normal font (no italics) in the APA 7th file.

It's pretty hard to do this in APA because the way the APA manual is set up almost every reference list entry has italics somewhere and the style is programmed accordingly. What is this for? Working with a different style would likely be easier.

It sounds like you have entered the item as a Conference Paper when it should be entered as a Presentation. Change the item type and the event information won’t be italicized

I changed it to "Presentation" but the title is still italicised.

By the way, for some reason, the "Place" does not appear when I select "Conference Paper".
