Incorrect formatting of the bibliography

I use Zotero via the Word plugin on iOS. Unfortunately, the formatting of the bibliography does not match the selected style (APA 7th). Regardless of the publication style, none of the references use italics. I have already searched the forum and tried various suggested solutions (changing the citation style, placing a fake publication with a long italicized title at the beginning of the list, installing a different APA style, deleting the list completely and recreating it, and copying the text into a new document and creating a new list there), but unfortunately none of these solutions have been successful so far. Does anyone have any ideas about what else I could try?

An excerpt from the list:

Pedersen, J. S., & Dobbin, F. (2006). In Search of Identity and Legitimation: Bridging Organizational Culture and Neoinstitutionalism. American Behavioral Scientist, 49(7), 897–907. https://doi.org/10.1177/0002764205284798

  • Does this happen in a new document with just the Pedersen & Dobbin reference inserted?

(I assume you mean Mac OS, not iOS, which doesn't have a Zotero Word plugin)
  • Yes, the problem also occurs in a new document in which only a new reference is inserted.

And yes, I meant Mac OS
  • Very odd. What happens when you use right-click --> Create Bibliography from Zotero (select APA/Bibliography/Clipboard) and paste into Word? You'll get italics then?
How about in Google Docs with the Zotero plugin?

Are you using any type of template in Word?

"What happens when you use right-click --> Create Bibliography from Zotero (select APA/Bibliography/Clipboard) and paste into Word? You'll get italics then?" - Yes, that works without any problems. However, I only cited some of the sources I included in the text, so I can't simply copy the bibliography.

    I don´t use google docs, so I don´t know.

    And I don´t use a template.
