Zotero is no longer working for me

Today, in the middle of working on my PhD work, Zotero began to see Amazon books as webpages. It changed after I had had success using it all day. So, I deleted Zotero, which I pay for, and added Zotero 7. In this version, I can't find where to put the data in, and it still doesn't see that an Amazon book is not a webpage. It isn't useable for my purposes at this point.
  • To start, upgrade to Zotero 8 again via Help → Check for Updates. There's no reason to be running an old version. This wasn't any sort of change in Zotero itself.

    There's a good chance you just saved a bunch of items at once and were temporarily blocked by the metadata provider used when saving from Amazon. If you provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading the page and trying to save, we can confirm.

    You can try saving from another website or by ISBN from within Zotero.
