Web Group Library Collection not displaying all items

I have a Group with a collection and two sub collections. On the Desktop version, I see all items in the subcollections in the parent collection, but on the web library, there is nothing in the parent collection. Where is the setting to show all items in the parent for the web version of my library?

"Show Items from Subcollections" isn't currently an option in the web library.

@dstillman is this still the case even if you have the option enabled in Zotero desktop?

Yes, the option is only a display setting for an individual desktop application. It doesn't affect display on the web, in the mobile apps, or even on other, synced desktop apps.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Will this always be the case or is there any plan to make this function available in the future? I use API calls to fetch items from groups but if I use subfolders to organize items, API calls do not return any items so I have to manually move items in subfolders to the parent folder. Thanks!
