Copying Quote No Longer Copies Page Number

Does anyone know why when you copy a quote it no longer copies the author and page number of that quote? That feature was incredibly useful for my research flow. Is there a way to get it back?
  • I just searched for this issue, as I've also stumbled upon it. It was so useful to have the quote properly quoted with author and page. I too am looking into a way to get it back.

@addisonkay, @uderecife: Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → Restart in Troubleshooting Mode...), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin responsible and report the issue to its developer.

If the issue still occurs in Troubleshooting Mode, could you provide a Debug ID?
  • I ran into the same issue. I also noticed that I could copy a note with the metadata in the main library, but not in the PDF viewer. I don't have any third-party plugins installed. But after restarting in troubleshooting mode and then starting again, it is working again. It is indeed a very helpful feature. So thanks again for that and the help here.
  • @AbeJellinek Thank you for the help! The issue doesn't occur in troubleshooting mode, but when I get out of troubleshooting mode and disable Better BibTex (the only plugin I have), the issue still occurs. So I can only get it to work when in troubleshooting mode.
  • i also ran into this issue. i don't have any plugins installed
