Hyperlinks in References APA 7

Hello,

I've been trying to get my reference DOI's to hyperlink, but haven't found anything specifically to do that. Currently, I'm having to save to a new document, unlink Zotero, and manually hyperlink everything. This is frustrating because I am working on my dissertation, so have to keep going back to the original document and making edits, only to repeat the process.

Any help on how to resolve this would be appriciated.

It’s not possible to have live links in an active Zotero bibliography for technical reasons. I suggest waiting to make the links live until you are done writing completely. Then, unlink Zotero citations, select the whole bibliography, and run Word’s autoformat function.

Thanks for the response. I saw that Refworks could do that, so I was curious if there was just a setting I was missing. :)

OK. I had the same problem. I don't find the solution very practical compared to other systems.

No need to do this one by one. Word's AutoFormat does the hyperlinking with one click: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/473820#Comment_473820

There is also a Word plugin, ZoteroCiteLinker, that adds this to a new menu ribbon: https://github.com/sbaydin/ZoteroCiteLinker (you'll need to follow the installation instructions, not just double click the file)
