Zotero Item Types and Fields
The element type "photo" (in german "Foto") is still missing. A photo is often not an artwork. These can be admired in art museums; photos are often not as valuable.
Photos are equivalent items to "Film" and "Video Recording".
The correct german term for "preprint" is “Vorabdruck” or ‘Vordruck’.
Please change "Gerichtsentscheidung" to "Gerichtsurteil" in the German version.
Thanks for adding and correcting that.

As for a Photo item type: I don't think the value of the object is the key factor. Instead, consider what the metadata properties should be, and how they will be cited. I would assume Artwork will fit well enough (but I admit I rarely use that item type, so I could be wrong).
In the German-speaking world, artworks and photographs are quite different objects in terms of content and attributes. Photographs can be artworks if they are created by an artist, but most of the time they are images of random situations that will not be preserved in the long term. I therefore stand by my assessment.
The current documentation recommends to use the Artwork type for all kinds of images and visual items: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/item_types_and_fields
This means that the Artwork type to describe a photograph should work for most or all practical Zotero purposes (metadata fields, citations, etc.) - maybe one needs to overlook the name if it feels inappropriate, but otherwise it should do everything you need. Is there something that you need that the Artwork type in Zotero is unable to do?
