Feature request - warn when saving duplicate entry

Sometimes I "find" an interesting paper multiple times and decide to save it to Zotero every time (via the Safari plugin). Then I realize I have duplicates... It would be great if Zotero could at least warn when trying to save an entity that already exists, and allow to either save again or update or do nothing...
Any reason this feature does not yet exist?

Try the Zoplicate plugin.

If you use the Firefox browser, you can set up its search engine options to search your Zotero web library for the title of a new paper you find in your browser - to see if you already have it - without leaving your browser ...
