Sources keep unlinking in Google Docs

I have the updated version of Zotero, but every time I open my document, all of my citations have become unlinked. Any way to fix this or something I'm doing wrong?

Are you collaborating with people who do not have the Zotero Connector installed? This is a possible cause, see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/google_docs_citations_unlinked

Oh, thank you, yes the document is shared with other people and I'm not sure if they have it or not. If I unshare with them, will it remain linked?
