How to prevent Zotero from expanding annotations under references

Hi everyone, I am using Zotero 8.0.2, and every time I open Zotero, all annotations are automatically expanded under each reference in my library. This makes it harder to browse papers quickly. Is there a way to stop Zotero from expanding annotations by default? Thanks in advance for your help!

They're only expanded when they match a search. We'll be adding an option to hide non-matching rows during searches. More details here:

Thank you. I checked the link you shared and in my case, for example, I can say that I was using the search to find the papers only that match my search, not annotations. It would be great to have this option as well, if possible. Thanks again

But again, note that you can use Title, Creator, Year mode to match only top-level items.
