Add/Edit citation to see citation source

Back to use of Zotero after a delay of a number of months.
Few days ago updated Zotero to ver. 8.0 due to the recommendation got printed on screen.

IEEE citation style is used - in text flow only numbers in brackets.
I use frequently Add/Edit citation to see for a citation in text
which is the linked library / collection item.
In the past it worked very well.

As of time being however the add/edit dialog pops up, with view like lib/collection browser and a list of item. So far so good. List items are presented by interchanging color of line background color. But in no way the citation linked item is presented. In the past the linked item was identified by line highlight color.

No luck so far on finding suitable setting/preference to set.

Zotero got installed by unpacking tarball downloaded from zotero web.
  • The selected citation will be shown in the search bar at the top of the dialog, regardless of whether you're in List or Library mode. If there's no citation bubble, you haven't clicked Add/Edit Citation within an active Zotero citation.

  • No, it works exactly how it worked for the last decade-plus with the default (red bar) citation dialog, which is replaced by List mode.

If you were using the classic citation dialog, Library mode is a direct replacement for that, and items in the citation are in fact highlighted in the items list. It looks like we're just not currently scrolling to the first cited item in the list. We'll fix that.
