Zotero 8: Upgrade message doesn't render version number

In Zotero 8.0.1 (64-bit) .deb package, update message doesn't correctly show the version number. Instead it shows a placeholder {$version}.

OS: Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie) x86_64
Kernel: Linux 6.12.63+deb13-amd64

Can you provide a Report ID? Does it happen if you restart Zotero? As far as we know, this is caused by plugins.

I have dismissed the update message. Nevertheless, here is the troubleshooting mode debug ID: D163225372

If you clear the extensions.zotero.postUpgradeBannerVersionShown pref in settings → Advanced → Config Editor (at the bottom) and restart, do you still see the problem?

I have done that with troubleshooting mode and it showed the correct message.

And not in Troubleshooting Mode?

All works well now, both in troubleshooting and normal start ups. Sorry for the missing information.
