## Description

After updating to Zotero 8.0.1 (64-bit), I am no longer able to install the ZotIn / Zotfile plugin.

When attempting to install the plugin manually via the Plugins Manager, Zotero shows the following error message:

“The add-on ‘…/Extensions/zotfile-5.1.2-fx.xpi’ could not be installed. It may be incompatible with this version of Zotero.”

This occurs even when downloading the plugin directly from the official Zotero plugins directory:
https://www.zotero.org/support/plugins

The plugin previously worked correctly before the update.

## Steps to Reproduce

Update Zotero to version 8.0.1 (64-bit)

Go to Tools → Plugins

Attempt to install the ZotIn / Zotfile .xpi file manually

Installation fails with an incompatibility error

### Expected Behaviour

The plugin should either:

Install successfully, or

Clearly indicate on the plugins page that it is not yet compatible with Zotero 8

### Actual Behaviour

Installation fails with a generic incompatibility error

No clear guidance is provided on whether this plugin is deprecated, temporarily unsupported, or requires a different version

I understand Zotero 8 introduces major architectural changes. However, since Zotfile/ZotIn is still listed in the official plugins directory, it is unclear whether this is:

- A known compatibility issue

- A documentation issue

Or a regression affecting plugin installation handling

Clarification on plugin support status for Zotero 8 would be very helpful.
