clicking on "add citation" does nothing

[Split from Can't add citation in Word]

I am having the same issue after upgrading to Zotero 8. This is incredibly urgent given that I am handing in my Master's thesis in less than a week. I receive no error message, clicking on "add citation" does nothing. No debug output from Zotero. Does not work in a new document either. Please help.

For anyone experience the same issue, deleting Zotero.dotm fixed it. Thank you
