Zotero does not upgrade when I click on 'check for updates'

I'm still on windows version 7.0.16 (64-bit). When I click on the check for updates, I get the message: 'no updates found'

  • I think there was one particular version where updates didn't work. Not sure it was this one.

    You can just grab the latest version here and install it over it: https://www.zotero.org/download/

  • I installed the new version on top of the older one. But will new updates now install automatically again?

    Yes.

    7.0.16 should’ve auto-updated by now for most people, but if it didn’t, reinstalling from the download page will fix it.
