Trouble with Citations from BlueBook Law Review
I've been having trouble for the last couple months when I cite using Bluebook Law Review style. The first citation works as expected, but then when I copy a second citation and paste, it pastes BOTH the first and the second citation. A third attempt pastes all three citations. When I close Zotero and open again, the clipboard clears, but this is impractical while writing.
This problem doesn't seem to happen with other citation styles. I've already tried erasing and reinstalling the Bluebook Law Review style and it did not fix the problem. This did not used to happen with this same style (as of spring 2025, for example. Any suggestions?

Upgrade Storage
1) Open blank Word doc.
2) Open Zotero
3) Settings/Cite -- select "Bluebook Law Review (updated 8/22/2025)
4) Right click on a source, select "create bibliography from Item," then, with prompts selected as "footnotes," "bibliography," and "copy to clipboard," click OK
5) Paste citation in Word doc (the citation appears as normal)
6) Return to Zotero and right click on a different source
7) Select "create bibliography from Item," then, with prompts selected as "footnotes," "bibliography," and "copy to clipboard," click OK
8) Paste citation in Word doc -->
Result: Pastes BOTH the first AND the second source, instead of just the second. If repeated a third time, the paste includes all three sources.
If I close Zotero and reopen, the cache is cleared (only one source pastes)
If I select a different bibliography style and follow the same process, say APSA style manual revised 2018, I have no problems and the citations do not accumulate.
If I then go BACK to Bluebook Law Review without shutting down Zotero in between, the paste produces an accumulated list, but ONLY the sources I have previously pasted using the Bluebook Law Review style.
You should also make sure you're trying with Zotero 8, which came out yesterday.
