I'm using the 'related items' feature to organize Zotero items into various topics. For each topic, I create a hub note and add those relevant items as its related items. In this way, I can easily recall a whole bunch of items if I can recall one of them.

I also record my survey of topics in the hub notes. My workflow is:

* add a citation in the hub note, or drag annotations into the hub note (implicit citation)
* write down my thoughts in the hub note
* add the newly cited item as a related item of the hub note

'Add a citation' and 'add a related item' are almost duplicated processes here, so is it possible to consider a new feature that can automatically add a (implicitly or explicitly) cited item as a related item? I think it might make the feature 'related items' more powerful.
