Content isn't found in saved searches filtered for an author

Create a saved search filtering for an author, then select this saved search folder and switch to the quick search field and select "everything" in the dropdown menu, type a word which is present in one of the files (not in the title or the other data fields, since those are considered when searching) and realize, that those files don't appear, at least here with v7.0.30.

Did you include the attachments in the search results?

Otherwise, the files will not be included and thus not searched:

That was it! I also had "show only top-level items" enabled, to declutter the interface, but with that enabled, it doesn't show the result of the content search.

I guess that this is by design?

Having both "show only top-level items" and "include parent and child items of matching items" enabled, and showing the content search results, would be more intuitive for me, since the big issue with saved search folders and enabled "include parent and child items of matching items" is that looks very cluttered with all the attachments displayed.
