PLEASE HELP- Zotero inserting clipboard contents into bibliography.

Hi everyone,
For information, I have a Mac and am using Zotero on Word.
For some reason, when going to create a bibliography using Zotero, it will copy and paste whatever is on my clipboard (aka the last thing I copy/pasted) into the document instead of the reference. The add/edit citation feature is fine, just the add/edit bibliography. Does anyone have any tips!?!?

    How exactly are you trying to create/insert a bibliography?

    So I have the Zotero program installed on my Mac and connected to Word. I go to the Zotero button on Word, click add citation, then it will add. Then I go to click create bibliography and it will then copy paste what is on my clipboard. Is this what you mean?

    Could you confirm your Zotero version and exact Word version? This sounds vaguely familiar, but I thought it had been fixed

    Word version is 16.100.2
    Zotero version 7.0.30

    Can you see if you can update Word? There have been a bunch of small updates.
