How to Move Items (and Notes) Between Collections Without Leaving Copies Behind?

1.How can I move an item from Collection A to Collection B in one step?
I want item P to appear only in Collection B afterward (i.e., item P should no longer remain in Collection A).
Currently, I only know how to right-click item P, choose “Add to Collection”, and select Collection B. But this just copies the item to Collection B — item P still remains in Collection A.
Then I have to manually go back to Collection A and click “Remove Item from Collection” or “Delete Item” (and I’m not sure what the difference is between these two options).
Dragging item P to Collection B produces the same result: it gets added to B, but I still need to manually delete it from A.

2.How should I handle the same situation for item notes and standalone notes?
I tried using “Change Parent Item” for a standalone note and selecting another collection, but it didn’t work.
