Merging duplicate items -- choosing abstract

When you merge duplicate items, you choose a master item but then have the option to mix and match some fields from the non-master. IIRC correctly, you used to be able to choose the abstract from a non-master item, but in the latest version of Zotero, I no longer see that as an option. Does anyone know how to do this?

Indeed, in another thread** dstillman said it was patched in the beta. I was running Zotero 7.0.16. Updated it to 7.0.30, and even tried the beta 8, and still hasn't been fixed in either those builds.

If anyone in the dev community sees this, it would be great to have a fix, because it was working fine in Zotero 6. I understand that abstracts isn't treated like other fields now (being below the other fields, contrary to how the interface was built before), but there should be a way to choose the abstract during merge.

This is the specific issue I was having today: Some of my earlier entries where imported without abstract, but with correct full author names. My newest import has initial first names, but *with* abstracts. Now I can't merge and have both.
