Zotero Word plugin changes German umlaut and casing
Hello,
thank you for all the great work on Zotero, which I have used for many years.
I came across a curious difference between the "Create Bibliography from Selected Item(s)” dialog and the Word plugin.
Via the Word plugin (on Mac 14.5, Zotero 8.0-beta.19+b9ef88d4f), I am trying to cite one chapter published within a German language book (but the chapter has an English title).
The book title is generated with wrong German casing via the Word plugin (the preposition "im" and adjective "deutschsprachigen" are falsely capitalised, and the umlaut "ö" is turned into "oe". These changes are not made when I use the "Create Bibliography from Selected Item(s)” dialog to copy the entry to clipboard.
I have tried changing the "Language" field to "de" and it does not seem to make a difference. The general settings are set to US English for both the clipboard and document settings dialogue because all the other references are in English.
Any suggestions on other settings I could adjust? Thank you!

adamsmithCan you try in a fresh document? I can't reproduce this and while casing may behave oddly (though again, it doesn't for me here), CSL/Zotero does just not have the capability to change Umlauts to oe/ae/ue, so I'm pretty sure you're picking up duplicated metadata from somewhere.
