Upgrade StorageScienceDirect PDF "saving failed" to Zotero on Firefox (but works on Chrome)
Hi, I'm running into a problem saving ScienceDirect PDF articles to Zotero via the connector specifically on Firefox.
I click View PDF in an article page which opens on a separate tab on Firefox with Firefox's default PDF viewer. Here, the connector shows a PDF icon to save to Zotero as expected:

However, when I click it to save, the icon turns into a red X and doesn't save the PDF. Hovering on the icon shows this message: "Saving Failed. Is Zotero Running?" (which it is running)

This is happening with PDFs of multiple articles specifically on ScienceDirect on Firefox. Trying to save the same on Chrome works as expected for some reason, though. Saving other article PDFs through other platforms like APA Psycnet or PlosOne on Firefox is working completely normally too.
The error report text for one such instance is this:

The debug ID for when trying this with one article is D1081072594. Copying the (extremely long) link to the article PDF at the bottom. I suspect the issue has something to do with the long contents in the link, but I can't figure out why it would work on Chrome but not Firefox.

adomasvenMake sure you are running the latest version of Zotero 7 and try again. Also, we don't recommend saving items to Zotero from PDF pages. You should save items from the article page of the publisher, in ScienceDirect case, the one that has the "View PDF" button.
