Upgrade StorageGoogle Docs Citation Error — Shows {Updating…} Instead of Citation

Hello,
I am facing issues while inserting citations in Google Docs using Zotero.
I have:
Installed Zotero on my Mac (app opens normally)
Installed Zotero Connector in Chrome
Allowed permissions for Google Docs citation plugin
Problem behavior:
When I click Add/Edit Citation in Google Docs, it takes a long time for the Zotero app to respond.
After selecting the reference, instead of inserting the proper citation, the document only shows {Updating…} and then displays an error.
The citation never updates properly.
I have already restarted the browser and Zotero, but the issue continues.
Could you please help me resolve this?
