Upgrade Storage[Solved][Zotero 8beta18][Safari] Saving Snapshot on Substack Crashes Connector in Safari
OS Version: macOS Tahoe 26.1 (25B78)
Browser Version: Safari Version 26.1 (21622.2.11.11.9)
Connector Version: 5.0.191 from Zotero
Zotero Version: 8.0-beta.18+6c70ccc66
Problem:
Saving snapshot on any Substack page crashes the Connector on Safari. The snapshot is not saved to Zotero.
It works in MS Edge on the same machine.
After the crash:
1) the "Saving to" popup stays on the page while the Snapshot appears grey.
2) the Zotero section of the right-click (control-click) menu is populated with spurious menu items on every page. (See attached Figure 1)
3) the Zotero Preferences page is frozen, and crashes with an error if I try to send the debug log. (See attached Figure 2)
