german citations: "p" instead of "s"

I use zotero with a german GUI and therefor I expect the whole process to work with german style.

Now, when I add a citation to a note, it should be like "s. 87", but it reads "p. 87" in the note (s = Seite = german for p= page). When I try to edit this citation, I can't because in the editing dialog it shows "s. 87".

Is this a bug or is there something I need to change in my settings?
  • It’s likely a bug, but you don’t really need to worry about it. The citations in notes are only placeholders and don’t conform to a specific style. When you insert the note into a document, it will use the citation style set for the document, including any localized terms.
  • Ok, thanks for clarifying.

But only to complete the malfunction: for whatever reason it is like "p. 87" insteadt of "s. 87", it became now "page 87" instead. So the first citations in notes are "p ...", following ones are "page ...", they all should be "s. ..."

But as those are placeholders, I can live with this.
