Why isn't there this version: Turabian 8th edition (full notes) or Chicago format?
Manual of Style 17th edition (full notes). If there is a similar format, which one do you use?

    Our Turabian styles are just dependent styles of Chicago, so you can just use the equivalent Chicago style — i.e., one of the Chicago 16th styles.

    I think the question is about the absence of "full notes"? If so, what used to be called "full notes" is now simply "notes" in line with how the Chicago Manual refers to it. The shortened version has the intuitive "shortened notes" label
