Adding an .epub file as an attachment without an existing parent item in a collection with many items.

The attachment is added and the parent item created correctly, but the display component ceases to work until restart

Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

Does it happen for a PDF file as well?

Sorry for the tardy response, but I wanted to fool with this on my own a bit before I added any more to your very full plate.

I cannot make it happen reliably enough to rule out it being a local problem (perhaps being caused intermittently by the combination of zotMoov and a NTFS library). I think it's safe to ignore this for now and I'll reopen it with a new Debug ID with logging enabled if I can make it happen consistently.
