Unable to insert Zotero after pasting citation from Word Comments

I have a word file. A person commented to insert a citation. I copied the citation to search for the corresponding reference in Zotero, found it. Then when I inserted the reference, Zotero said error. How to resolve this problem?

    If this is macOS, and you're saying you copied text from a Word comment, you can just copy some other non-comment text to the clipboard. This is a known bug that will be fixed in the next release.
