Palm rejection issue

Hi guys! I am having a long time issue with Zotero when I am annotating pdfs with Apple Pencil (ipadOS 26). The annotating toolbar is a floating element when it is activated. By holding it down, we can reposition it in the screen. However, when I am writing, my palm constantly touches the toolbar and Zotero understand it as an attempt to reposition it. But, all of sudden, Zotero’s interface gets stuck and I can’t reposition the toolbar to its original position (top), or close the open document, or go back to the previous screen. The only option is to kill Zotero and reopen it. And this happens quite frequently. Something similar happens when I am writing in a document and my palm unnintentionlly zoom in or out the document because of the position of my hand when I am writing (I am left-handed).

I think this has something to do with Palm rejection functionalities. Is there a way that we can lock the app interface to prevent those glitches? Please let me know if I can be of any help in sharing more evidence related to this.

Can you please provide screen recordings of these issues, and share them here or mail them to support@zotero.org mentioning this thread.

Also mention which version of the app you have installed, as well as which apple pencil and iOS device you use.
