Multiple bibliography entries but no duplicates

I am generating the bibliography for my dissertation, and I’m getting multiple entries in the bibliography for the same source. They’re not duplicates in the Zotero system. The generate bibliography is treating them like different sources. See below two entries, one page apart for the same source.

I did merge multiple word docs into one, so I wondered if it was that. But I’m still unsure.

    First of all, those "screenshots" you took with your phone are hard to figure out. Please use a digital screenshot next time. It's a handy feature to know how to use. ;)

    This problem happens when people delete a source in their Zotero library, INSTEAD of merging them. As the item was already cited inside the document, it continues existing inside the file.
    Therefore, just delete both of them and reinsert the source.

    Haha. Yeah, poor image execution there; I was just working in analog mode and kept going.

    When you say "delete both of them" do you mean delete the citations or the source in zotero?

    Delete the citations in your document.
