Ever since I updated to the new version of Zotero, I've been having an issue come up in the MS Word plug-in. If I edit an in-text citation (for example, change the citation from (Putnam et al., 2025) to just (2025)), then later on a pop-up window will appear notifying me and asking if I want to keep that change. The pop-up window has always been a thing, and that's fine, but what I don't appreciate with the new update is that now it automatically jumps to the place in the document where that change occurred.

I'm guessing that this was implemented into the new update so that people can see the context of the new citation, but this is happening to me in a very large dissertation doc that I'm already fighting for my life to navigate! It's making me lose my place and my train of thought. Is there anything I can do to not have it jump to the place where the edit happened? Thank you!
