changing language settings

i want to change my language setting of Zotero to English (UK). However, as per the instructions, I do not see a language dropdown menu in: menu-> preferences -> advanced, not any other place as to change the language. Anybody a suggestion?

It's in the General tab of the preferences, right at the top.

(For future reference, that's OS 15.6, not iOS, which is the operating system for ipads and iphones -- the iOS app isn't localized)
