Safari extension not working properly MacOS 26.1

I have a MacBook Pro running Zotero 7.0.26, Safari 26.1 (21622.2.5), Chrome 140.0.7339.210 on MacOS 26.1. Using the Chrome extension, the Zotero Connector works properly, but on Safari, the usual Zotero extension icon for a publication is replaced by the web page icon, and clicking on the icon either fails to recognize the link to a full text PDF or does nothing at all. That page works for me. See Troubleshooting Problems Saving to Zotero, and provide the requested info if you're still having trouble. (Start around Step 11.)

Ah, restarting Safari fixed the problem.
