Upgrade Storageshortcuts issues with Zotero 8 Beta

I am a Zotero plugin developer, and I added some shortcuts for the features in my plugin. However, I found some shortcuts issues with Zotero 8 Beta. That is:
In the built-in reader of Zotero 8, when focusing on the iframewindow of the Reader (for example clicking anywhere of the PDF), shortcuts with the style of shift + xxx (e.g. Shift + E) do not work, but when focusing areas (e.g. toolbar) outside iframewindow of the Reader, shortcuts with the style of shift + xxx (e.g. Shift + E) can work well.
However in Zotero 7, the shortcuts with the style of shift + xxx (e.g. Shift + E) can always work even when focusing on the inside of the PDF.
In conclusion, the shortcuts with the style of shift + xxx (e.g. Shift + E) can't be used in Zotero 8, which greatly limits the flexibility of plugins features.
