"Find Full Text" not available in a group?

I have a collection of articles (from Scopus) that are in a group library. None have the full text. Many have DOIs, and I want to find the full texts where possible. But in the group library, the Find Full Text option is always greyed out on these items. However, when I copy the items into my personal library, Find Full Text works and acts as expected.

I can't tell why this is happening. Is it expected? (I'm on Linux.)

    If you don't have permission to add files to the group library the option won't be available.

    This may be because all files are disabled for the group (if it is a Public Open group this is always the case), or you have a role in the group such as "Member" that does not have permission to edit files.

    Thank you! It was Public Open, and I forgot about that setting. Problem solved!
