    Zotero isn't able to make changes within your Zotero data directory. If D: is a network filesystem or external disk, there could be the problem.

    You should also try restarting in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins, in case some plugin is interfering.
  • Hello, D: is a normal local disk; Also I‘ve tried restarting in Troubleshooting Mode but is seems not work.
    And: Error Report ID: 363949287 (sync in Troubleshooting Mode)
  • Can you disable all plugins and provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
  • I've already diabled all my plugins and the Debug ID is :D24286003
  • Does the folder D:\[…]\Zotero\storage\DSRZSN88 exist now? Does it contain anything?
  • Yes,the folder exists and contains nothings.

  • You can try deleting that folder manually, but the problem might just occur with another folder. This is usually due to either permissions problems or security software on the computer interfering.
