Zotero 7.0.25 for Mac: Word add-in does not appear

edited yesterday at 7:11pm
Hi, I’m using a Mac and I’m currently trying to install the Word add-in. According to the instructions, I need to go to Settings -> Cite -> Word Processors and select the add-in. However, it’s not being displayed. Could someone possibly help me find it or tell me how I should proceed?

Thank you very much!!

  • You're in the right spot, but you need to scroll down further.
  • I'm having the same issue and, like original poster, when looking in the Settings > Cite > Word Processors section, all that I see is "Use classic Add Citation dialog." There's nothing further to scroll down to. The options to select the add in are gone. (I'm using Zotero 7.0.25).
  • I was helping two students today and they also had the same problem. When we went to the Cite menu, there was nothing after the "Use classic Add Citation" option.
  • Me too... I also scroll all the way to the bottom, and I see nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled zotero. but nothing. can someone please help, before i throw my computer out the window....

Sorry, this was broken in Zotero 7.0.25, which we released over the weekend. Fixed now in 7.0.26.
  • I just downloaded 7.0.2.6 version, but the problem still exists. When I went to the Cite menu, there was still nothing after the "Use classic Add Citation" option.
  • Please ignore the previous message. I just found that after I downloaded 7.0.2.6 I needed to restart my computer. Then "Word Processors" appeared.

  • How do I get zotero 7.0.26 if i downloaded the 25 version?
  • @hmurp1: Help → Check for Updates or, at this point, you can likely just restart Zotero.
