Invites to join the group not sent out

I'm sending invites to join a shared group to new team members, but they are not getting emails with any content. Is this a common issue? Is there a way to have them join the shared library without the email?

    If the users can't receive emails, or they are delayed, they can still join the group if they have registered their Zotero account and verified the email address (the same one you send the invite to).

    The invitation will appear on their groups page when they're logged in to that account.
