Style Error: Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering

It appears that this journal's citation formatting has been changed since the creation of the csl file in 2015. The format is found here: https://link.springer.com/journal/12195/submission-guidelines#Instructions for Authors_References

Basically, the journal moved from no brackets to brackets ([ ]) in the inline citation and orders the references based on order that they are presented in the article not alphabetical order of the first authors name. I am trying to make this editing change now, but this is the first time I have done this and it is taking awhile. Any help would be great.

Great! Thanks. I found the sort author and date line in the code and took that out and it seems to be working. They journal edited the inline referencing to add brackets, so I didn't find that line.

There was quite a bunch of other issues in the style that you probably didn't spot and also wouldn't necessarily know how to fix.
Please update the style from the repository and use that instead.

That's not related to the style update, but it's a harmless glitch that will be fixed in the next major version of Zotero (Zotero 8).
