Zotero fails to open, and the SQLite file cannot be deleted or copied, displaying an error indicating the file is corrupted or unreadable.

As an immediate workaround, you can copy the rest of the data directory to that default location on the C: drive and then copy the most recent automatic backup, zotero.sqlite.bak, into the new data directory as zotero.sqlite. Zotero will use whatever file is named zotero.sqlite when it starts up.
