Purchased more storage but sync still saying not enough storrage

Hi,

I purchased more storage (current usage is 700 MB and I purchased the 2GB plan) 24 hrs ago. I've been trying to sync my files to make them available across all my devices. I've tried "Reset File Sync History" so all my local attachment files missing remotely can be uploaded in the storage service and I get the message of "Success". However, when I log into my web library I'm still missing over 200 files.

What can I do to fix this?

I've double checked and sync is set to automatic, data direction is set to default, I also tried manual sync and still nothing.

Note that the account you're posting from has unlimited institutional storage. If that's still an active email address, you don't need a personal storage plan and should email storage@zotero.org to cancel it.

Beyond that, if you're still getting a quota error, we'd want to see a Debug ID for a sync that produces that.

If you're not getting an error but files aren't available online or on other devices, see Files Not Syncing, and provide the info requested there if you're still having trouble.
  • @mhjasso: Oh, but the account you're posting from has only ever been synced from the iOS app. If you're using the desktop app, you're syncing with some other account. You can check the account you're using from the Sync pane of the Zotero settings.

If you're using multiple accounts, you'll want to transfer data from one to the other, but the specifics of that would depend on what data you have in each account.
  • Thank you so much! Seems like it worked
