Unable to drag and drop between collections

Have suddenly become unable to drag items from one collection to another in the desktop.
Fortunately, I can still do it via the menus
Zotero: 7.0.16
System:
Desktop: Cinnamon v: 6.4.8 Distro: Linux Mint 22.2 Zara
Kernel: 6.8.0-79-generic arch: x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 13.3.0

Should have mentioned that when I try, absolutely nothing happens.
No sign of dragging occurring.

Download Zorero again to update to the most recent version (7.0.16 had a glitch and doesn't update). Re-installing won't touch your data -- it's the same as an update

The issue was just regular drag and drop (copying).
Thanks adamsmith for the reinstallation suggestion - it worked perfectly.
